Synergy Infotech
launchs the Beta version of
its ASN.1 Compiler.
ASN.1 compiler
(ansc) translates the most
commonly used ASN.1 constructs
into C data types (typedefs)
and encoder / decoders. The
compiler takes an ASN.1 specification
as an input, verifies it and
then generates header files
with data structure and function
prototypes. It can be used
to perform encoding and decoding.
It encompasses an ASN.1 compiler
together with a complete set
of ASN.1 encoding/decoding
engines (PER, BER).
The ASN.1
compiler offers the following
features -
- Adheres to ASN.1: 1997
standards.
- Generation of C code from
ASN.1 specifications.
- Compiler supports both
little-endian and big-endian.
- Generated code can run
on most platforms.
- Run-time library of Packed
Encoding Rules (PER) and
Basic Encoding Rules (BER)
encode/decode functions.
- Both Aligned-variant and
Unaligned-variant PER encoding
of ASN.1 data types to generate
transfer syntax as specified
in ITU-T Recommendation
X-691.
- Both Aligned-variant and
Unaligned-variant PER decoding
of ASN.1 data types to transfer
syntax to generate corresponding
data values.
- Supports both Time Optimized
and Space Optimized encoder
/ decoder.
- Generated code uses customized
memory-management functions
to enhance performance.
